Asciiroot / Linux & Unix

Root Intelligence for clearer operational decisions.

Bring a Linux or Unix question, incident, change, security concern or hardware alert into a structured workspace for analysis, scenario demonstrations and human review.

AI analysis requires a configured self-hosted model. The optional browser-guided fallback is rule-based, not AI. Demonstrations do not verify a production system or fix.

Root Intelligence: AI guidance, scenario lab and human review

From a question to a reviewable plan

Root Intelligence helps organize evidence and possible next steps for people at different experience levels. It complements—not replaces—qualified engineers and vendor guidance.

01 / UNDERSTAND

Describe the situation

Enter a redacted question and context for a configured self-hosted AI model. A rule-based browser fallback is available only when selected.

02 / EXPLORE

Try a scenario lab

Watch labelled simulations for service, configuration, memory, storage, hardware, DNS, CPU and access issues, then review events in a non-executing practice console. An optional isolated worker supports selected fixed demonstrations.

03 / REVIEW

Research and plan with care

Review local guidance and optional, consented public issue and CVE pointers alongside Linux troubleshooting guides. Verify sources, recovery steps and changes with the responsible human team.

Built for human oversight

Root Intelligence does not access production systems or execute user- or AI-generated commands. The experimental isolated worker is disabled by default and requires separate setup and security validation. Never submit secrets or confidential logs.
